Agusto & Co., represented by Ikechukwu Iheagwam, Regional Director (East Africa) participated in side event on Wednesday 20 November 2024 at the Climate Mobility Pavillion, COP 29 Baku. The event discussed the theme of “Climate Adaptation and Displacement Response: Innovative Gender-responsive Financing and Operational Models for Locally-led Actions and in Fragile and Conflict-Affected Settings” wherein Ikechukwu Iheagwam participated as a panellist speaking on the subject of innovative green financing mechanisms (and showcasing relevant case studies in other markets) as a means of supporting locally-led actions in fragile and conflict-affected settings like Wajir County in Kenya.
